Every payment to Cadence is non-refundable. Setup fees, monthly retainers, addons, custom work — all final on receipt. Work begins immediately, so refunds aren't available once a payment lands.
Why we don't refund
The day you pay, we start. Brand extraction kicks off, the operator slot is reserved, design begins, and the build clock starts. By the time any cancellation request arrives, the most expensive part of the work — the operator's attention — has already been spent.
This policy lets us keep prices fair for everyone. We don't pad rates to cover refund risk, and we don't take on clients who aren't serious.
What this covers
- One-time setup fees (BASIC, PRO, ELITE — both Brands and Dropshipping tracks).
- Monthly recurring management retainers.
- Addons (extra flows, copy passes, design upgrades, predictive segments).
- Custom work outside listed tiers.
- Campaigns scheduled or sent on your behalf.
In short: every line item on every invoice we issue is non-refundable once paid.
No prorated refunds
If you cancel partway through a billing cycle, you keep service until the cycle ends — no prorated refund. If you prepay multiple months, no refund for the unused portion. The only effect of cancellation is preventing the next charge.
No chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback after work has begun is a breach of the Terms of Service. We keep complete delivery records (timestamps, draft files, deployed assets in your Klaviyo) and we will dispute every chargeback with full documentation. If a bank reverses a payment in your favour after work has been delivered, you remain liable to us for the contracted amount plus reasonable collection costs.
Cancellation, the right way
You can cancel future renewals at any time by emailing hi@cadancemarketing.com. Give us 30 days notice for monthly retainers. We'll wrap whatever is in flight, hand off the assets cleanly (everything we built lives in your Klaviyo and stays yours), and stop billing the next cycle.
Exceptions
There are no exceptions to this policy. Not for:
- Changing your mind after starting.
- Pivoting your business.
- Klaviyo or Shopify outages.
- Deliverability or open-rate disappointment.
- Selling or shutting down the store.
If you're unsure whether Cadence is right for you, do not pay. Book a free call or run the free audit first — those are free for a reason.
What you do get
Once we ship, the flows, templates, popups, and segments live in yourKlaviyo account. They're yours forever, even if you cancel. Nothing is held hostage. You can keep running them, edit them, or hire a different agency to take over — they're your assets.
